BREEDTECH (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains in detail what information we collect, how we track and use it, and with whom it is shared when you visit our website, including any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).
1. What Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information You Provide Directly
We collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us. The specific data we collect includes:
(a) Identity Data: Full name, username or similar identifier, date of birth, and age verification information.
(b) Contact Data: Billing address, shipping address, email address, and telephone number.
(c) Financial Data: Payment card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC code, and billing address. Note: Full payment card details are processed and stored by our third-party payment processors (see Section 3) and are NOT stored on our servers. We may retain the last four digits of your card number and card type for order reference purposes only.
(d) Transaction Data: Details about payments to and from you, and other details of products and services you have purchased from us, including order history, order amounts, dates, and fulfillment status.
(e) Account Data: Your username, password (stored in encrypted form), purchase history, wishlist items, and account preferences.
(f) Communication Data: Your correspondence with us via email, contact forms, live chat, social media messages, and any feedback, reviews, or survey responses you provide.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically (How We Track You)
When you access the Site, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information through the following tracking technologies:
(a) Server Logs: Our web servers automatically record your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring/exit URLs, date/time stamps, clickstream data, and pages viewed. This data is collected on every page visit.
(b) Cookies: We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device until deleted or expired). Specifically, we use: Essential Cookies required for site functionality (shopping cart, login sessions, security tokens); Analytics Cookies to measure site performance and visitor behavior; Functional Cookies to remember your preferences and settings; and Marketing/Advertising Cookies to deliver relevant advertisements and track campaign performance.
(c) Pixel Tags / Web Beacons: We embed small transparent image files in our web pages and emails to track page views, email open rates, and user navigation patterns.
(d) Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our Site, including pages visited, time spent on pages, bounce rates, geographic location (city-level), device type, and traffic sources. (e) Facebook Pixel / Meta Pixel: If enabled, we use the Meta Pixel to track conversions from Facebook/Instagram ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to people who have taken actions on our Site. This pixel collects data such as pages visited, products viewed, items added to cart, and purchases completed. You may adjust your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
(f) Third-Party Analytics and Marketing Tools: We may use additional tools such as Hotjar (heatmaps and session recordings), Klaviyo or Mailchimp (email marketing analytics), and social media analytics SDKs. These tools may collect behavioral data, device identifiers, and interaction data.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

2. How We Use Your Information

(a) Order Processing and Fulfillment: To process your orders, manage payments, arrange shipping, send order confirmations and tracking updates, and handle returns or exchanges.

3. With Whom We Share Your Information

3.1 Payment Processors
Your payment card information is transmitted directly to and processed by our third-party payment processor(s), which may include Stripe, PayPal, Square, or Shopify Payments. These processors handle your financial data under their own privacy policies and in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) requirements. BREEDTECH does not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers.
3.2 Shipping and Logistics Partners
We share your name, shipping address, phone number, and email address with our shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other regional carriers) to fulfill and deliver your orders and provide you with shipment tracking information.
3.3 Analytics and Marketing Providers
We share anonymized or pseudonymized usage data with analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) and marketing platforms (such as Meta/Facebook, Klaviyo, Mailchimp) to analyze site traffic, measure advertising effectiveness, and deliver targeted advertisements. These providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect and process data under their respective privacy policies.
3.4 Business Tools and Infrastructure
We share limited data with cloud hosting providers, content delivery networks (CDNs), customer support platforms, email service providers, and website platform providers (such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms) as necessary to operate and maintain our Site.
3.5 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures

3.6 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
3.7 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent to or request such sharing.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing or commercial purposes without your explicit opt-in consent.
4. Cookie Management and Your Choices
You have the following options to manage cookies and tracking:
(a) Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or alert you when cookies are being sent.
(b) Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
(c) Meta/Facebook Opt-Out: Adjust your advertising preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences or use the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.
(d) Do Not Track: Our Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers. However, you can use the opt-out tools described above.
Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features of our Site, including the shopping cart and checkout process.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers; PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through our third-party payment processors; encrypted storage of sensitive account data; regular security assessments and vulnerability testing; access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis; and secure server infrastructure with firewall protection.
Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for the following periods: Transaction and order data is retained for a minimum of seven (7) years for tax and legal compliance purposes. Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active, plus one (1) year after account closure. Marketing preferences and consent records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus three (3) years. Server logs and analytics data are retained for up to twenty-six (26) months. Customer support communications are retained for three (3) years from the date of resolution.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access the personal information we hold about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information; the right to request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements); the right to object to or restrict processing of your personal information; the right to data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format); the right to withdraw consent at any time; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:
(a) Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which your personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information.
(b) Right to Delete: You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
(c) Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
(d) Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. BREEDTECH does not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Site.
(e) Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers and servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. BREEDTECH operates with infrastructure in both Colombia and the United States. If you are located outside these countries and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer data internationally and process it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of twenty-one (21). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 21. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions to remove that information from our servers.
11. Consent and Acceptance
IMPORTANT: By using our Site, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you must actively consent to this Privacy Policy through our “Click Here to Accept” consent mechanism displayed during account registration and/or at checkout. No order can be processed without your explicit acceptance. Your continued use of the Site after changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
