Refund and Returns Policy

IMPORTANT: Please read this Refund Policy in its entirety BEFORE making a purchase. By completing a purchase on our Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Refund Policy. This policy is designed to provide full transparency to all cardholders and customers regarding their options for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

1. Pre-Purchase Acknowledgment

At checkout, all customers are required to acknowledge this Refund Policy through a mandatory “Click Here to Accept” consent function. No order can be processed without this active acknowledgment. This ensures that all cardholders are fully aware of their refund and return options before their payment card is charged.

2. Biological Products — Seeds and Genetic Materials (FINAL SALE)

ALL SALES OF SEEDS, GENETIC MATERIALS, AND BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS ARE FINAL. Due to the perishable and sensitive nature of biological products, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on seeds, genetic materials, tissue culture products, or any live plant materials once the order has been shipped. This policy exists because we cannot verify the storage conditions, handling, or viability of biological materials after they leave our climate-controlled facility.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you may be eligible for a replacement or store credit under the following conditions:

(a) Notification Deadline: You must contact us within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be honored.

(b) Required Documentation: You must provide your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence showing the damage, defect, or error. Photographs must clearly show the product, packaging, and shipping label.

(c) Resolution Options: Upon verification of your claim, BREEDTECH will, at its sole discretion, either: (i) replace the affected item(s) at no additional cost; or (ii) issue a store credit for the value of the affected item(s). Monetary refunds to the original payment method are available only in cases where replacement or store credit is not feasible.

(d) Original Packaging: Damaged items must be retained in their original packaging until the claim is resolved.

4. Lost or Missing Shipments

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe provided in your shipping confirmation: contact us with your order number and tracking information; we will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier; if the carrier confirms the package as lost, we will, at our discretion, either reship your order or issue a store credit. Delivery delays caused by customs, weather events, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer do not qualify for refunds.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled under the following conditions:

(a) Within twenty-four (24) hours of order placement AND the order has not yet been processed or shipped: full refund to original payment method.

(b) After twenty-four (24) hours or after the order has been processed: cancellation is no longer possible. The order will be shipped according to standard procedures.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable under any circumstances: seeds and genetic materials of any kind (once shipped); tissue culture materials and live plant products; custom or special orders made to your specifications; items purchased during clearance, flash sales, or final sale promotions; digital products, downloadable content, and gift cards; and items that have been opened, used, germinated, planted, or altered in any way.

7. Merchandise and Non-Biological Products

For non-biological merchandise (apparel, accessories, branded items, and other non-perishable goods):

(a) Return Window: Thirty (30) calendar days from the delivery date.

(b) Condition Requirements: Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, in original condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.

(c) Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, manufacturing defect).

(d) Refund Method: Refunds for eligible merchandise will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for non-biological merchandise within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery, subject to product availability. If the desired replacement is out of stock, we will issue a store credit. Size exchanges for apparel are free; exchanges for different products may incur shipping charges.

9. Refund Processing and Timeline

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed as follows:

(a) Processing Time: Refunds are initiated within five (5) to ten (10) business days of approval.

(b) Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.).

(c) Bank Processing: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days, or up to one (1) billing cycle, for the refund to appear on your statement.

(d) Partial Refunds: If only part of your order is eligible for a refund, we will issue a partial refund for the qualifying item(s) only.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

IMPORTANT: We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly at support@breedtech.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first contacting BREEDTECH may result in delays in resolution, suspension of your account, and/or being barred from future purchases. We actively cooperate with payment processors to resolve all disputes fairly and provide all relevant transaction documentation.

11. Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs paid at checkout are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is entirely due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, or fulfillment mistake). Free shipping promotions do not affect return eligibility or refund amounts.

12. How to Initiate a Return, Exchange, or Claim

To initiate any return, exchange, or damage claim, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Email support@breedtech.com with the subject line: “Return/Refund Request – [Your Order Number].”

Step 2: Include your full name, order number, date of purchase, description of the issue, and any supporting photographs.

Step 3: Our support team will respond within two (2) business days with instructions for next steps.

Step 4: Do NOT ship any items back without first receiving a return authorization from our team.
